Season 1 focused on one woman's story of survival following a near fatal car accident. Season 2 will focus on two young ladies healing of sickle cell disease following a bone marrow transplant. Lisa is a Managing Director in the financial service industry and loves listening to podcasts. She has been sister friends with Johnita for over 25 years and is the proud auntie to Johnita’s son and daughter as well as six other nieces and nephews. Lisa traveled to Virginia the weekend of the accident and has witnessed Johnita’s miraculous recovery, but only from afar. Co-hosting the podcast will provide Lisa a more intimate understanding of Johnita’s recovery.

Life is a continuous evolution constantly filled with high and lows, twists and turns. Johnita’s life changing journey is one which we can all learn from, and Lisa is honored to help share her story with the world.
